Devon Franklin

DeVon Franklin is an award-winning film and TV producer, bestselling author, renowned preacher, and spiritual success coach. DeVon is the ultimate multi-hyphenate. Roxann Dawson

Producer, director, and actor Roxann Dawson makes her feature-film directing debut with BREAKTHROUGH. Her recent directing credits include The Deuce for HBO, The Chi for Showtime, and MARVEL’S Runaways for Hulu. Among many other directing credits are multiples of House of Cards, The Americans, and Treme. She is also producer-director on the hit Scandal, as well as Cold Case, and Crossing Jordan. A native of Los Angeles, Roxann graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Theatre Arts. Shortly after graduation, she landed her first professional job as Diana Morales in the Broadway production of A Chorus Line. While in New York, she also performed in numerous Off-Broadway and regional theatre productions. She returned to Broadway to close A Chorus Line as the last Diana. Roxann was cast as B'Elanna Torres in Star Trek: Voyager and during the series’ seven-year run, she started a family and began her directing career with 10 episodes of the next Star Trek series, Enterprise. In addition to directing, Roxann co-authored a trilogy of novels with Daniel Graham, The Tenebrea Trilogy.

He has been named one of America’s leading Christian and Latino voices and as the leader of the Latino Evangelical movement by CNN, Fox, NBC Telemundo, The Wall Street Journal, The San Francisco Chronicle, Charisma Magazine, and many other outlets. He worked with and advised Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump. Among many other awards, he received the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award presented by the Congress of Racial Equality. An award-winning author, he regularly contributes to well-known national publications. He is the author of Be Light: Shining God’s Beauty, Truth, and Hope in a Darkened World, a No. 1 Los Angeles Times bestseller. His most recent book is When Faith Catches Fire: Embracing the Spiritual Passion of the Latino Reformation, co-authored with Dr. Robert Crosby. Pastor Sam has served as executive producer of two films in partnership with Franklin Entertainment and 20th Century Fox, and is co-founder and lead pastor of TBN Salsa, an international Christian-based broadcast television network.

Grant Nieporte

Grant Nieporte is best known for writing SEVEN POUNDS, starring Will Smith, Rosario Dawson, and Woody Harrelson. His original script for SEVEN POUNDS was a top-ten finalist on The Blacklist, the annual ranking of the “most liked” scripts in Hollywood. Grant's career began on the hit ABC sitcom Home Improvement, starring Tim Allen, where he served as a technical consultant. Grant spent a decade learning the ropes in television working on network shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Jack and Jill, and 8 Simple Rules, but his first love has always been feature films. Grant recently adapted the book BREAKTHROUGH, opening in theaters April 17. Grant just finished co-writing the true-life legal drama COBALT. Grant is also producing the book adaptation of HOPE HEALS with Ian Bryce that is in active development. HOPE HEALS is the first project under Grant and partner Bob Smiley’s Humble Picture Company. Currently, Grant is planning his next project with producer DeVon Franklin. Grant is married to his amazing wife Jill. They have two kids and one misbehaving dog.
